JVC boasts improved accuracy because of its proprietary "Compu-calibration," a computer-controlled recording calibration system incorporating full-logic control and motor actuators. This sounds convoluted, but what it means is that your deck will automatically optimize bias, equalization and level for lower distortion. The TDW354BK has incorporated means of combating modulation noise (like the notorious wow and flutter) by including a series of cassette-shell stabilizers and large insulators. What's more, this model includes auto/synchro record mute (for automatic dubbing of CDs), auto tape type selector and a headphone jack.
